St. Therese's Morning Prayer

O my God! I offer Thee all my actions of this day for the intentions and for the glory of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I desire to sanctify every beat of my heart, my every thought, my simplest works, by uniting them to Its infinite merits; and I wish to make reparation for my sins by casting them into the furnace of Its Merciful Love.

O my God! I ask of Thee for myself and for those whom I hold dear, the grace to fulfill perfectly Thy Holy Will, to accept for love of Thee the joys and sorrows of this passing life, so that we may one day be united together in heaven for all Eternity.

Amen.

PRAYER TO ST. THERESE

O little St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, who during your short life on earth became a mirror of angelic purity, of love strong as death, and of wholehearted abandonment to God, now that you rejoice in the reward of your virtues, cast a glance of pity on me as I leave all things in your hands. Make my troubles your own - speak a word for me to our Lady Immaculate, whose flower of special love you were - to that Queen of heaven "who smiled on you at the dawn of life." Beg her as the Queen of the heart of Jesus to obtain for me by her powerful intercession, the grace I yearn for so ardently at this moment, and that she join with it a blessing that may strengthen me during life. Defend me at the hour of death, and lead me straight on to a happy eternity.

Amen

Prayer For My Husband

O God who has carefully chosen my husband to be my partner in this journey,
I ask that you bless our union, and to give us both the grace each day to accomplish our duties to Thee, to each other and to our family.

Lord, bless my husband with good health-
physical, mental, and emotional strength to meet his obligations.
Bestow upon him the courage and strength he needs throughout the day
and use me to inspire and affirm him.
Give him wisdom and discernment for daily decisions,
and bless him with leadership skills to lead and care for our family.
Lord, guide his parenting to reflect You, and that his actions be a good example for our children to follow.
Give him a genuine heart of a father and husband - a heart full of love and self-sacrifice.

Lord give my husband the ability to provide for our family;
Bless him with stable and gainful employment.  Guide his footsteps to the right path.
Make him assertive and strong to seize the opportunities you provide.
Grant him the diligence and perseverance to carry out his responsibilities, and bless the work of his hands that he may succeed and provide a good life for our family.

Lord, give my husband wisdom in finances.
Teach him to multiply the blessings you provide, and to use them carefully and responsibly.
Make him quick and generous to help others just as you are with us.

In all his dealings, make his words true and kind, purposeful and wise.
Help him build good relationships, and find true and lasting friendships that help encourage and model goodness to him.

Lord, mercifully supply my husband in all his needs-
grant him a strong faith,
a pure, humble, and charitable mind
courage to overcome his weaknesses,
fortitude, patience and meekness in tribulations,
victory in his battles, and strength to rise from failures.
Guide him to follow Your will and to live in God’s grace.
And just as you have blessed St. Joseph the virtues of a good foster-father,
a good husband and a faithful servant, so do ingrain them in my dear husband.
Grant these through Christ, our Lord.
Amen

NOVENA PRAYER
*(prayer to be said at the end of each day's devotion)

Saint Joseph, I, your unworthy child, greet you. You are the faithful protector and intercessor of all who love and venerate you. You know that I have special confidence in you and that, after Jesus and Mary, I place all my hope of salvation in you, for you are especially powerful with God and will never abandon your faithful servants. Therefore I humbly invoke you and commend myself, with all who are dear to me and all that belong to me, to your intercession. I beg of you, by your love for Jesus and Mary, not to abandon me during life and to assist me at the hour of my death.

Glorious Saint Joseph, spouse of the Immaculate Virgin, obtain for me a pure, humble, charitable mind, and perfect resignation to the divine Will. Be my guide, my father, and my model through life that I may merit to die as you did in the arms of Jesus and Mary.

Loving Saint Joseph, faithful follower of Jesus Christ, I raise my heart to you to implore your powerful intercession in obtaining from the Divine Heart of Jesus all the graces necessary for my spiritual and temporal welfare, particularly the grace of a happy death, and the special grace I now implore:

(Mention your request).

Guardian of the Word Incarnate, I feel confident that your prayers in my behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God. Amen.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

MEMORARE
Remember, most pure spouse of Mary, ever Virgin, my loving protector, Saint Joseph, that no one ever had recourse to your protection or asked for your aid without obtaining relief. Confiding, therefore, in your goodness, I come before you and humbly implore you. Despise not my petitions, foster-father of the Redeemer, but graciously receive them. Amen.
